Being an LDS!

Usually, they are popularly called as "Mormons" but in reality they are so-called "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" or you can call them LDS for short.

During my primary and high school education i haven't known them. In fact, i don't know that religion before but as i enter the portals of Pangasinan State University, Lingayen Campus, one friend of mine and my former classmate at the same time namely Mr. Daniel C. Reyes, introduced it for my other friends. To tell you honestly, he was the only member from our batch, if I'm not mistaken, that time. I could still remember the moment when we have a brief conversation about his religion. At that time, i was seemingly immature enough with the Gospel of Jesus Christ so I partly took it for granted his counsels for me. Yet, as the time and years went by, I became to be more receptive with the gospel together with my friends, Cory and Nelson. We have attended Institute, like a scripture class study, in Lingayen Stake Center in Lingayen Capitol Lingayen, Pangasinan. We enjoyed very much and learned a lot of things- temporally and spiritually. About month of October last year 2010, they were officially part of the aforementioned church. But for me, I still wandered and wondered from the happenings of my life. I was still reluctant from joining the church because of some family matters. But i still continued to attend institute and finished the class up to December where I bore my testimony with the church. Anybody is allowed to share his or her testimony. It seemed to me that moment of time that I could feel that I should share my testimony to others. So, I stood in front of everybody and shared some of my experiences and realizations-that I must not only focus myself with the worldly things but rather I should open my heart too, to the gospel. I realized that i usually burn my midnight oils and candles just to give my best to all of my professors but then I forgot that there was still more important aspect of my life, who is Jesus Christ our Savior. I felt so much the Comforter whom i learned the Holy Ghost in our scripture-study who made me feel the truthfulness of the restored gospel of the Savior and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church established again here on earth. I am glad that I found it, at last and I hope someday you would find it too.
